If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Jongno District in Seoul, be sure to stop by Cafe Yeogiinga, a delightful haven for coffee lovers and animal enthusiasts alike. Nestled in a traditional Korean Hanok, this family-run cafe offers an authentic cultural experience paired with delightful beverages and a welcoming atmosphere.

Step inside and be greeted by the charming hosts, a family whose warmth is evident in every corner of the cafe. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with rustic decor that evokes a sense of nostalgia and comfort. As you settle in, you’ll likely be welcomed by their friendly retired service dog and a beautiful, elderly cat who both add a touch of homely charm to this already enchanting space.

Cafe Yeogiinga is known for its carefully curated selection of coffee, with beans sourced globally—from the rich, bold flavors of Uganda to the aromatic notes of Indonesian beans. Each cup is meticulously brewed to perfection, creating a coffee experience that is both satisfying and memorable. One delighted customer, Stephan Aditya, marveled at the quality, exclaiming, "AMAZING!! Coffee Perfect!!" and highlighting the cafe’s authenticity and warm service.

The menu doesn't stop at coffee; you can indulge in a variety of cocktails and homemade cakes that perfectly complement your drink of choice. Imagine savoring a slice of cake while enjoying a luscious espresso—each bite and sip invites you to stay just a little longer. Eddie Miller expressed this sentiment well, sharing their experience of enjoying a nice cocktail while engaging in friendly conversation with the owners.

As you explore the cafe, the decorations and ambiance echo the traditional Korean architecture, enriching your visit beyond just the flavors. The family’s passion for what they do shines through in every interaction, making you feel like part of their community. Customer Edwina Lui perfectly captured this ambiance, describing it as "cute and cozy," with the added delight of a retired service dog that greets each visitor. It’s a quintessential part of the experience that brings a smile to everyone’s face.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to read, a spot to catch up with friends, or simply a cozy hideaway to enjoy fantastic drinks and the company of friendly animals, Cafe Yeogiinga is a must-visit destination. Don't miss out on this hidden gem, where every visit feels like returning home.

Extremely welcoming hosts. Great drinks, a lot of food options and two beautiful animals: a cute, 23 year old cat and a cuddly doggo. All of it in a traditional Korean house. You need to check it out

AMAZING!! Coffee : Perfect!! PLACE : AUTHENTIC!! SERVICE : VERY GOOD!! PRICE : Fair!! This place catched my eyes since I’ve found it in Google Maps. A TRADITIONAL place in Hanok. A nice FAMILY run this place, they have good knowledge and WARM person. The beans are WORLWIDE, I had my Uganda’s bean for the first time. They are doing good with this bean. They got INDONESIA’s bean too!! The Place was AMAZING!! If you like the AUTHENTIC style, you must come here. It feels like home, warm and welcome. Why I give 5-Star? They have a Belgian Sheperd and a 22yo Chubby Cat. These family members are amazingly Good Manner, Friendly and LOVELY!! So if the pets are handled with good care and love, I have No Doubts with their Service. Good hand made cup, they had it from an artist ParkSongKuk. They got style here!! This is a place we MUST VISIT!!

This place is cute and cozy, the staff (family who own the place) are lovely, AND there’s a retired service dog who greets everyone. What’s not to love?

Special place to feel a comfortable Korean home cafe. It's in over a hundred year-old Hanok house with a fancy retro atmosphere. I am here with my wife in October, 2023 finding myself in comfort and peace. Vin Chaud and cheese cake is
